Lucy Finds Love - Lynnette B.
In the heart of Pomona, CA, a little soul named Lucy found herself at the Inland Valley Humane Society. On October 18th, her fate took a turn for the better when Priceless Pet Rescue extended a helping hand and welcomed Lucy into their care. Just three days later, on October 21st, Lucy's story took an extraordinary twist. Puente Hills Subaru hosted a mobile adoption event, and Lucy, with her charming beagle-chihuahua mix personality, was chosen to be part of the day. Fate smiled upon her once again when she captured the heart of an employee from the dealership. It was a match made in heaven as Lucy, the adorable 3-year-old canine, found her forever home right there at Puente Hills Subaru. The dealership's compassionate staff not only facilitated the adoption event but also became the loving family Lucy had been patiently waiting for. Today, Lucy is thriving in her new home, experiencing love, warmth, and joy. Puente Hills Subaru's commitment to animal welfare has not only transformed Lucy's life but has also showcased the power of community, compassion, and second chances. A heartfelt thank you to Puente Hills Subaru for being a driving force behind Lucy's happily ever after. May her tail wag in joy for years to come!
My love promise moment - jesse t.
I wanted to share a moment that holds a special place in my heart. It all began when I decided to visit Puente Hills Subaru, with the hope of finding a furry companion to join my family. Little did I know that this visit would lead me to Priceless Pets mobile adoption, where I found my perfect match. As I walked through the doors of Puente Hills Subaru, I was greeted by a team of compassionate individuals who shared the same love and dedication for animals as Subaru does for its customers. The moment I laid eyes on my new four-legged friend, I knew it was meant to be. The staff with Priceless Pets guided me through the adoption process with care and ensured that my new companion would be a perfect fit for my lifestyle and home. The Love Promise moment truly came to life when Puente Hills Subaru generously supported Priceless Pets, not only by hosting adoption events but also by providing financial assistance and resources to help ensure our adoptions was an experience to not forget. It was heartwarming to witness the genuine commitment of both Puente Hills Subaru and Priceless Pets to making a positive impact on the lives of animals in need. Now, every time I get behind the wheel of my Subaru, I am reminded of the incredible journey that led me to my beloved furry friend. The love, loyalty, and joy that my dog brings into my life are immeasurable, and I am forever grateful to Puente Hills Subaru and Priceless Pets for making this Subaru Love Promise moment possible. Thank you for creating a partnership that not only helps customers find their dream cars but also helps animals find their forever homes. Your dedication to making a difference in our community is truly inspiring.

Puente Hills Subaru sponsored a Lau Party for the Country View Senior Assisted Living. We bought Ice Cream and sunglasses. We sang happy Birthday to the Seniors that had birthdays in July. We danced sang and had an amazing time. Country View has 130 residents that live there full time. They do not get much visitors and were so grateful we were able to spend time with them. When setting up for the party Ms. Lesly event coordinator stated they were under staffed and I can see she was trying to do some many jobs. So I advised her I can watch the seniors and do the party while she worked. There was music so I invited some of the seniors to dance with me. We sang a couple of songs, chatted about their lives and how much it meant to them to come in and spend our time there. There was even some messes that needed to be cleaned up after the ice cream lol. In all this was such a memorable experience, I will never forget.

Pi Finds His Forever! - Priceless P.
Meet Pi! This guy had been in foster care for months waiting for his forever home. Since he is in a wheelchair, he was passed up time and time again just for the fact that he might be a little bit harder to take care of and could not get around like a "normal" dog. We kept taking him to events just to show people how amazing dogs who are in wheelchairs are. After a long adoption day, there was a family who had seen him and just had to take him home. Their dog at home was special needs and when they saw Pi they just fell in love. Their home had a ramp proof house already due to their other dog in the home who need ramps to get around. They just wanted to give a pet a home who had been overlooked and Pi was the perfect pup.

Women’s & Children’s Crisis Shelter - Marilynn M.
Puente Hills Subaru’s Share the love event, has impacted operations at the Women’s & Children’s Crisis shelter immensely. With their generous donation of unrestricted funds we can cover food costs for one year for all our emergency shelter clients. Women’s & Children’s Crisis Shelter is committed to providing safety, shelter, and hope to victims of domestic violence. WCCS believes that people should be treated with respect and dignity. That people have the right to live without fear of violence and should be empowered. WCCS believes in the responsibility to act and in the need to engage the community. Our greatest challenge is meeting the increasing demand for our services and the increase in cost. The demand for DV services increases with every passing year, and so do the costs for food, utilities, mileage, and staffing salaries to be able to support more clients. WCCS’s primary need is financial support to provide shelter, food, clothing, counseling, and other supportive services to women, men, and their children who are fleeing domestic abuse. WCCS offers 28 beds and three cribs, and a 24-hour hotline with bilingual operators. Clients are admitted based on need and availability and may stay for up to 45 days. Upon entry, clients receive clothing and hygiene items, and receive three nutritional meals and two healthy snacks daily. Counseling services are provided by a Licensed Therapist weekly to both adult and children. Clients are assisted in stabilizing their situations financially, accessing legal resources, meeting medical needs, attaining suitable housing, and self-sufficiency. They also attend domestic violence support group and parenting classes. Because of the Share the Love event donation, more clients are able to receive the help they need.
